2006 was a great year in Beechworth and proves to be a stand out vintage for the decade. Laden with citrus, melon and stonefruit, we again innocultaed with indigenous yeast. The 06 chardoanny has great length and structured natural acid that holds shows the beauty of htis vineyard and the age of the vines.
"This complex wine combines charatcers of almonds, flint and stonefruit and pear and graces them with elegance and charm" - Sally Gudgeon, Uncorked 2008

A classic cool climate blend, our cabernet merlot is rich with blueberries and cassis, a hint of semi-dried tomatoes and a velvety spice palate. It’s looking great now and will until 2010.

Our first Beechworth Shiraz. From the old Havelock vineyard which is at 600m, this wine is showing great promise. Subtle mineral, spice and pepper accentuate the nose, with a classic chocolaty cool climate shiraz palate. What a year!
